Reed Switch

Went to Maplin To ask if they had any stronger reed switches and with the track we've been given their most sensative reed switches wouldnt pick it up.

    I was also looking through the maplin website, and if our work with the LDR does not prove sensitive enough we can perhaps modify and use phototransistors, which are more sensitive and output a current rather than sinking any.
